What is the health claim?
The German Medicines Advertising Act (HWG) and the corresponding regulations prohibit us from advertising feed supplements with disease-related claims. This means that neither we nor our customers are permitted to make statements in reviews that:
- Promise the cure or treatment of diseases (e.g., "cures arthritis, etc.")
- Claim the targeted prevention of diseases (e.g., "prevents epilepsy, etc.")
- Mention symptoms or complaints (e.g., "helps with heartburn, incontinence, etc.")
How to write a valid and helpful review:
Please focus on which of your dog's normal bodily functions was supported by the product and describe your overall feeling of well-being. Instead of mentioning specific illnesses or symptoms (e.g., "cured arthritis" or "helps with heartburn"), describe the improvement in mobility, vitality, or digestion. For example: Instead of "The powder stopped incontinence," write: "My dog's normal bladder and nerve function are well supported; he seems noticeably more vital." Or instead of "The inflammation subsided," write: "My dog's skin is much more balanced, and his coat is shiny." This way, your positive experience remains visible to everyone and advertising guidelines are adhered to.
