DOG FIT by PreThis® JOINTS greenshell contains a high-quality extract from the New Zealand green-lipped mussel, which is valued in veterinary medicine for its diverse applications in special needs of the joints and musculoskeletal system. The glycosaminoglycans it contains, natural components of synovial fluid, contribute to the normal function of cartilage and synovial fluid.

JOINTS greenshell also supplements the daily diet with natural B vitamins, which play a role in normal energy metabolism and nerve function. Yes, our products have been specially developed to be combined with each other. • Dogs up to 2 kg are fed one small capsule every 2 days.
• Dogs from 2 to 10 kg are fed one small capsule daily.
• Dogs from 10 to 25 kg are fed one medium capsule daily.
• Dogs from 25 to 50 kg are fed one large capsule daily.
• Dogs over 50 kg are fed two large capsules daily.

The easiest way is to mix the closed capsules into the food or hide them in a treat. If the dog refuses this or cannot swallow the capsule, the capsule can be opened and the contents mixed into the food. Alternatively, the contents can also be mixed with soft food such as yogurt, cottage cheese, or liverwurst. Since the capsules in joint products like JOINTS greenshell consist of valuable additional collagen, it is recommended to soften them in water and mix them into the food.

Store out of the reach of small children, in a dry place protected from light and below 25°C.

Our products should be fed once a day. It does not matter whether this is in the morning or evening, together or separately. However, it is important to follow the dosage recommendation and give the product regularly.

We generally recommend long-term feeding for most DOG FIT by PreThis® products, especially for dogs with special needs or in advanced age. Continuous supplementation with micronutrients can make an important contribution to supporting the normal function of the musculoskeletal system and nervous system – especially in dogs with increased stress or age-related changes.

Exception: VITAL gastro

For short-term challenges such as temporary soft or watery stools, we recommend initially supplementing with VITAL gastro for about 5 days. The feeding recommendation is based exclusively on the acute phase.

The onset of effect depends on the type and severity of the underlying disease. It usually takes at least 6 weeks before the first positive effects can be noticed, possibly a little longer. Please be patient, as natural products need time to take effect.

One bag contains 60 capsules and is sufficient for up to 2 months or longer, depending on the weight of the dog. It is similar with powder products, please refer to the product under contents and dosage.

Our products are free from undesirable additives, including genetic engineering, animal testing, gluten, fructose, yeast, soya, palm oil, flavourings, sugar, cereals and preservatives. They therefore fulfil the highest requirements for very good feed supplements.

• JOINTS is developed for the dog's body weight and is optimally dosed for dogs up to 10 kg (small), 10 kg - 25 kg (medium), and from 25 kg (large).
• Depending on their body weight, dogs receive 1 capsule of DOG FIT JOINTS small, medium, or large per day.
• Very small dogs up to 2 kg should take 1 capsule small every 2 days, and dogs from 2.5 to 3.5 kg should skip 1 day per week. The capsule can also be opened to mix the contents into the food.
• Very large dogs 50 kg and over: 2 large capsules daily.

The capsules are designed to be taken flexibly to optimally meet the needs of dogs. The ideal way to do this is to mix the capsules in their closed form directly with the food or hide them in a treat. This is the most hygienic and uncomplicated method.

If the dog has difficulty swallowing the capsules, they can be carefully opened to mix the contents directly into the food or combine them with tasty treats such as yogurt, cottage cheese, or liver sausage.

We particularly recommend feeding the capsules with joint products such as JOINTS, JOINTS elements, or JOINTS greenshell, where the capsules are made of collagen. After the contents have been mixed with the food, they can be softened in a little water before being mixed with the food.

Your dog is initially hesitant to eat food with DOG FIT. In such cases, we recommend the following steps:

• Reduce the amount: If your dog does not accept powder or granular preparations, start with a smaller amount and gradually increase it. Some dogs need some time to get used to the new taste.
  With capsule preparations, it is usually enough to open them and mix the contents with the food. This is not a problem and does not affect the effectiveness, as many ingredients require pre-digestion in the stomach in order to be fully metabolized in the intestines. Since the capsules often consist of additional collagen, it is particularly recommended for our joint preparations to soften them in water and mix them with the food. For very small dogs, we recommend this approach either way - unfortunately there are no mini capsules.

• Mix it with treats: You can also combine the DOG FIT preparations with treats to make the taste more pleasant for your dog. Popular options include liver sausage, cottage cheese and similar snacks.

Gelantine capsules consist of additional collagen and cellulose capsules are an additional dietary fibre. We use a vegan rice extract as a filler, which is not possible with tablets, which is why many other manufacturers use magnesium stearate, for example. Furthermore, an exact dosage is guaranteed by the precisely defined amount of active ingredient contained;
